Our objective is to explore the potential of rooftop spaces for implementing technical infrastructure, providing environmental services, and offering open and leisure areas in São Paulo. 

In order to do that, we will formulate estimates regarding the potential for sustainable uses (e.g., food production, solar energy production, water retention), develop scenarios for implementation of rooftop interventions based on the mobilization of local community actors, and establish guidelines for public policy.
